There is simply no infrastructure for artificial irrigation of the fields. The management of arable land and plantations is inefficient and limited by a lack of nutrient resources. Harvest, if at all, is only once a year, along with the negative consequences in terms of the amount of food produced and the income that can be achieved for it.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a49fc70 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a49fc70\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWith the \u201cWomen in Aquaculture\u201d project, we are attempting to extend the harvest phases to year-round cultivation of the cultivated areas by building irrigation ponds and diversifying vegetable and fruit cultivation.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1f05bd17 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1f05bd17\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tZHAW W\u00c4DENSWIL AND SMILING GECKO HARNESS TOGETHER\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1279aa5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1279aa5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTogether with the ZHAW W\u00e4denswil, we operate a pilot plant based on the open source technology \u201cSun Oxygen System\u201d on the Smiling Gecko Campus.
