Cambodia’s turbulent history has left deep scars, especially on its culture. The Gong gives old traditions a place to live on and new ideas room to grow, keeping the country’s cultural roots alive.
Auditorium
The cultural centre’s stage is available to artists of all ages for performances and rehearsals. It has already hosted symphony orchestras, circuses and internationally acclaimed performers, including the wonderful pianist Luisa Imorde. With room for up to 140 guests, the auditorium is probably the largest in the surrounding area.
Recording studio
Our recording studio meets international standards and operates commercially. We also use it to record our school choir, but its main purpose is to offer Cambodian and international artists a unique atmosphere in which to record their music.
Podcast studio
Alongside the recording studio, The Gong has a dedicated podcast studio equipped for both audio and video podcasts. Like the recording studio, it is available for commercial hire wherever possible.
Video production
The cultural centre’s spectacular architecture makes The Gong a popular and distinctive setting for commercial video productions. We also have the technical equipment to give producers and artists the best possible support.
Conferences
These distinctive spaces offer a special venue for conferences and product presentations to larger audiences. The Gong has the necessary technical equipment, while catering can be provided by the Farmhouse Resort, which is also the perfect place to stay.
