Hong Kong – Phnom Penh (KTI)
Arrival in Hong Kong early in the morning and connecting flight to Phnom Penh (08:40/10:25). You will be met at the airport and transferred from the new airport to your hotel. Check-in is normally from 14:00.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Royal Palace, which remains the official residence of King Norodom Sihamoni, as well as the Silver Pagoda and the National Museum (closes at 17:00). Finally, you will visit the Central Market, a covered market built around a central dome, where you can find almost every kind of souvenir. Overnight stay at a hotel in the city centre.

Phnom Penh – Siem Reap
After breakfast, you will explore the country’s tragic past. The Khmer Rouge’s reign of terror has left its mark to this day. You will visit the former Tuol Sleng torture prison and the Killing Fields outside the city.

Siem Reap: the temples of Angkor
Visits to the spectacular temple complexes: you will explore Angkor Thom with the Bayon and the Terrace of the Elephants. You will then visit Ta Keo, the jungle-covered Ta Prohm and Preah Khan, with further temples if time permits.
Angkor Archaeological Park is not only a destination for travellers admiring the art and architecture of past civilisations, but also home to many residents of the Siem Reap region. Along the paths and near the temples, we discover small villages with charming traditional houses. We recommend escaping the tourist crowds and enjoying a private aperitif in one of these wooden homes, in a peaceful and authentic setting. Farmhouse Smiling Gecko – School Opening
Early in the morning, you will visit the school and gain a memorable insight into the children’s daily lives. This personal tour includes moving encounters that leave a lasting impression.
After breakfast, a tour of the Smiling Gecko Campus follows. You will learn more about the wide range of vocational training programmes and apprenticeships for adults, as well as the project’s sustainable development work.
In the afternoon, you will visit a local school and surrounding villages. These encounters offer an authentic picture of life in rural Cambodia and the challenges people face every day.
